Auditorium

The Auditorium is our most popular meeting room and can be used in a multitude of ways. The room has been used for family and class reunions, weddings and receptions, business meetings, musical performances, hunters education classes and public forums. The room is just over 1100 square feet and can comfortably house groups of up to 100.

Use of our state of the art audio visual equipment is included with your rental fee. Equipment available for use includes an LCD projector and computer (if needed), television, DVD and VCR players, overhead projectors and an Elmo Visual Presenter. We also have 2 wireless microphones available for your use. Please check with the Center Staff if your group has need of this equipment, and we will be happy to set it up for you.

For your convenience, we have compiled the most common room set-ups and the number of attendees our space can comfortably accommodate.

Conference and Hollow Square - up to 36

Appropriate for interactive discussions and note-taking sessions. This setup is normally recommended for fewer than 36 people. We are happy to supply a dry erase board and a flip chart in addition to the A-V equipment for your presentation needs.

U-shape or T-shape - up to 30

Appropriate for groups of up to 30 people. These are best for interaction with a leader seated at the head of the setup. Audiovisual presentations are usually best set up at the open end of the seating.

Theater - up to 110

Appropriate for large sessions and short lectures that do not require extensive note-taking. This is a convenient setup to use before breaking into discussion or role-playing groups because chairs can easily be moved.

Schoolroom or Classroom - up to 60

The most desirable setup for medium to large-size lectures. Tables provide attendees with space for spreading out materials and taking notes.

Reception - up to 140

This set-up is for stand-up social functions only, where beverages and light foods are served. Food and drinks are presented on small buffet tables.

Banquet - up to 104

Generally used for meals and sessions involving small group discussions. Our five-foot round table seats 6 people comfortably and our rectangular tables can seat up to 8, depending on setup. The auditorium can be set-up with only round or only rectangular tables, or a combination of both. The rectangular tables offer the largest seating capacity, giving you a total number of up to 104.
