The Amphitheater has been the site of many programs and events, from Pickin' in the Park, to the annual Papa Joe Smiddy Mountain Music Festival. In addition, it has hosted concerts for Cove Ridge Foundation's Candlelight Series, church events, class reunions, and even weddings. The facility has two dressing rooms, a full sound system, restrooms and a concession stand. In 2010, fans were installed above the stage to help keep performers cool during events.
The Amphitheater is available to rent for events. Please contact the park office at (276)940-2674 or email us for information regarding use of the amphitheater.
