The 8th Annual Papa Joe Smiddy Mountain Music Festival will be September 5, 2010. The festival of bluegrass and traditional music will take place on the Sunday of Labor Day week-end (September 5) starting at 6:00 P.M., at the Natural Tunnel State Park Amphitheater. At 5:00 P.M., selected performers from the summer’s Pickin’ in the Park will take the stage at the amphitheater. Along with Papa Joe, featured performers for the September 5, 2010 festival will be announced soon.
Fees: Reserved tickets $15.00 (bench seating) General Admission tickets $10.00 when purchased in advance and $15.00 at gate (bring chair or blanket) Children 12 & under admitted FREE as general admission with paying adult. Food and drinks will be available for purchase during concert.
The Amphitheater at Natural Tunnel State Park is an affiliated site on the Crooked Road, Virginia's Heritage Music Trail.
