The interpreters at
Natural Tunnel offer a variety of programs from
wildflower walks in the spring
to astronomy programs on a clear summer night, a
historic hayride down Fincastle
Turnpike or a birding trip though various habitats. However, their most
popular programs are Canoe the Clinch,
the Wild Cave Tours and the
Stock Creek Passage. If you are
planning on visiting our park, take a few minutes to see if any of these
programs might be for you.
2009 Program Schedule
Special Note: As a
result of White Nose Syndrome being found in Virginia bats, Wild Cave Trips will
not be offered for the 2009 summer season at Natural Tunnel State Park for
purposes of protection of the bats. Further Information on White Nose Syndrome
can be found
here.
